Meet the planets and see how you'd measure up on each one!

The Planets

⚖️ How Much Would You Weigh?

Gravity is different on every planet, so your weight would change too — even though how much "stuff" you're made of (your mass) stays the same!

🎂 How Old Would You Be?

A "year" is just how long a planet takes to go around the Sun once — planets farther out take much longer!

Solar System Tips

☀️ It's Almost All Sun

The Sun makes up more than 99% of all the mass in the whole solar system — all 8 planets combined are just a tiny fraction of it.

🪨 Two Kinds of Planets

Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars are small and rocky. Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are huge balls of gas with no solid surface to stand on.

🌗 Gravity Depends on Size (and Density)

Bigger planets usually pull harder, but not always — Saturn is huge but so "fluffy" that its gravity is only a bit stronger than Earth's.
